Today, thousands of volunteers are canvassing the nation to get-out-the-vote in the 2020 U.S. election. Hundreds of thousands are already lining up to vote early in select states, and on Election Day, November 3, millions more will head to the polls to cast their ballots. But the coronavirus pandemic hasn’t gone away — in fact, some areas of the country are seeing infection numbers rise once again.

Voter safety is vital to our democracy. That’s why Operation Masks, Aiden Health’s nonprofit, nonpartisan sister organization, has made supplying PPE to voters and volunteers a strategic priority this election season.

Today we announced a partnership with Way to Rise, the nonpartisan arm of the progressive donor community Way to Win that works with grassroots groups across the US. In partnership with Operation Masks, Way to Rise is underwriting delivery of $100,000 in masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, and face shields to volunteers for twenty grassroots groups across nine states this week. See Operation Masks’ press release for more details here.
