McKesson Calcium Alginate Rope Dressing is a highly absorbent, sterile wound care solution designed to manage moderate to heavy amounts of exudate and control minor bleeding. This dressing can be used to fill or pack the dead space in a wound, and features an optimal gelling profile to avoid sticking to the wound bed and maintain physical integrity for easy removal in one piece. A secondary dressing is required for proper placement and to protect the wound from outside contaminants. The dressing is non-occlusive and can be trimmed to fit the wound dimensions. Single-use only.
